Mr. Sajad Ahmed Kichloo MLA, was born on 20th of June, 1964 in Kishtwar. He passed his BA from Jammu University. He started his political career in 1996 and was elected as Tehsil President Youth NC. Leter he was elected as District President Youth NC in 1998 and continues this status till date. After the death of his father, he was given mandate by NC party for contesting the Assembly Election from 51 Assembly Segment Kishwar in 2002, which he won by 16725 votes defeating his rival INC candidate Mr. Ghulam Haider Sheikh by a margin of 1663 votes

Mr. Ghulam Mohd. Saroori, MLA was born on Ist January, 1953 in village Marwari, Sarthal. He studied upto matriculation. He started his political career in 1982 as a social worker. He contested Assembly Elections in 1996 as Independent Candidate but could not succeed. Again he jumped in the fray for contesting Assembly Elections in 2002 on INC ticket and won the election securing 24551 votes against NC candidate Mr. Jalal-ud-Din Qazi laging him behind by a margin of 18884 votes

Mr. Abdul Majid Wani, MLA was born in April, 1960 in village Bharat(Doda). He completed his Ist year TDC. He started his political career as social worker from 1990. He is well known among the people of the area for his generous attitude towards the poors and down traddens of the area. He contested the Assembly Elections from 53-Assembly Segment as Independent candidate for the first time in 2002 and won the seat securing 13799 votes defeating his rival Ex-MOS Home and NC candidate with a margin of 607 votes

Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad ( Hon'ble Chief Minister J&K)

Mr. Chaman Lal MLA was born on 25th of November, 1972 in village Shalnee (Kathli-Kashtigarh). He passed his MA exam and did his Master of Philopsophy in Urdu from Jammu University and also qualified NET. He started his political career as social worker in his area. Lateron on he joined NC partly, with the result a  curosity of becoming a politician developed in him and finally steped in election fray for contesting Assembly Election from Ramban Segment on NC ticket in 2002 and won the seat against INC candidate Mr. Ashok Kumar securing 15220 votes with a margin of 2539 votes

Mr. Moulvi Abdul Rashid MLA was born on 16th of  October 1932. He passed his matriculation in 1944 from Lahore University. He joined his services as Panchayat Inspector in 1953 and resigned from the services on 10th of October, 1955. He joined NC party. After the arrest of Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah on 13th of August 1953 he worked as overground stanch political worker. He was arrested and detained many times in varius jails for supporting Sher-e-Kashmir in the cause of plebiscite. In 1997 for the first time he contested Assembly Elections from Banihal Segment on NC ticket and was declared successful. He also contested elections in 1983 and 1987 on NC ticket and won the election and later on he was elected as Deputy Speaker of Legislative Assembly in 1987 and continued upto 1990. In 1996 he contested Assembly Elections but could not succeed against an Independent Candidate. While in the Assembly Elections 2002 he resigned from the party and contested Assembly Elections as an Independent Candidate and won the election securing 11393 votes by defeating NC candidate Mr. Mohd. Farooq Mir with a margin of 6674 votes

Mr. Mohd. Iqbal Butt was born in Februrary 1961 in village Chhanga, Tehsil Gandoh. He is under Matric. He started his political career as Halqa Secretary in 1976-77 of village Changa. He worked as Block Secretary from 1978 to 1990. He was elected as Youth President of Tehsil Gandoh in 1990 and continued till 2002. He was nominated as MLC from Tehsil Gandoh for a period of six year on 26th of September, 2001
